KZF DESIGN ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS AND NEW HIRES

CINCINNATI, OH – KZF Design is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Schneider to Project Architect and the hiring of Erin Baird and Kristen Said as Project Designers.

Jason Schneider, RA, LEED AP BD+C is a Project Architect at KZF Design and a LEED Accredited Professional specializing in "green" building design and construction with 17 years of experience. Jason has worked on a variety of building types including retail, hotel, condominium, corporate office, education, childcare, medical and laboratory facilities. Jason’s recent projects include the Southern State Community College Campus-wide Facility Master Plan, and the 711th Human Systems Wing, an award-winning 650,000 SF medical research and education facility at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

Erin Baird joins KZF Design as a Project Designer specializing in the design of commercial, industrial, community and senior living facilities. Erin has a Masters in Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy, specializing in crime prevention though environmental design. Erin is currently working with KZF’s Commercial and Industrial Group, developing projects at YMCA Camp Ernst in Burlington, KY.

Kristen Said joins KZF Design as a Project Designer in our Government and Justice Group, specializing in design of federal and healthcare facilities. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architecture from Miami University, with a secondary focus in 3D Art. Kristen has special expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D modeling.

These new hires follow recent project awards for KZF Design, including a $13.6M Aquatics Center at Ft. Bliss, TX with Megen Construction Company, roadway reconstruction of Latonia Ave and Southern Ave in Covington, KY, a 80,000 SF manufacturing plant in Lawrenceburg, IN with Gordian Design & Construction, a $3M Surgery Center for the Iowa City Veterans Administration with Paradigm Engineers & Constructors and a 200,000 SF office campus renovation in Dallas, TX for the financial giant Citi.

KZF welcomes these employees to our staff of more than 70 design professionals based at our LEED Gold certified offices and studios in the 8th Street Design District in downtown Cincinnati. KZF selected its new office location and renovated the circa-1915 building at 700 Broadway Street to allow it to better serve its local, national and international client base and provide room for the future expansion of its workforce.
