KZF provided original design and high-end amenities in a new corporate facility for this eyewear giant.
Project description:
KZF supplied space programming, schematic design and comprehensive interior design services for LensCrafters’ new 286,000-squre-foot national headquarters. As LensCrafters relocated from an outdated and crowded building, KZF took the opportunity to establish new corporate space and furniture systems standards that are applied throughout their new facility.
Annually recognized as one of the best employers in the nation, LensCrafters wanted to create a work environment which helped attract and retain exceptional employees. The associate amenities include a corporate fitness center and a full-service cafeteria. The building is also equipped with the latest telecommunication and computer systems.
The interior design of the headquarters reflects the retail orientation of their company as one of the largest eyewear retailers in the U.S. The new open office arrangement utilizes translucent corridors, creating uninterrupted views from the exterior floor-to-ceiling windows. Indirect lighting in the office area gives uniform, yet flexible, illumination. Color plays a vital role by lending a sense of movement through the space.
