Scope:
KZF designed an efficient, productive distribution operation for several high-end catalogs, all under one roof.
Project description:
After acquiring several high-image catalog companies located throughout the United States, Cornerstone Brands, Inc. wanted to bring the operations together under one roof.
KZF Design, with Schumacher Dugan Construction as part of a design-build team, provided complete site planning, architecture, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural engineering, as well as interior design services to create a world-class service center.
Cornerstone’s fulfillment operations are now housed in a 970,000-square-foot facility. It includes a 57,000-square-foot corporate headquarters for Cinmar, a 38,000-square-foot call center for Frontgate and Ballard Designs catalogs, a 65,000-square-foot retail outlet, and 810,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution space.
